ArcCatalog, GeoDatabases and Editing Simple Feature Classes
This course continues the series of classes for the beginner/intermediate user of ArcGIS Desktop. You will learn about the importance and usefulness of ArcCatalog and how to capitalize on its data management capabilities. You will learn how to edit simple Metadata. You will be introduced to the GeoDatabase and its advantages while learning how to import and manage data within that storage format. Finally, you will learn how to edit simple point, line and polygon feature data and their attributes.

Class Sessions:
3 lecture sessions(est. 1 - 1.5 hours ea.)

Hardware/Software Requirements:
ESRI specified hardware and ArcEditor or ArcInfo 10 (sp3 preferred): ArcView licenced users should be able to perform most exercises, but the class has not been tested to work with ArcView.
